The HBCA Government Affairs committee held their monthly meeting this past Thursday with special guest speaker from Brevard Public Schools, Superintendent, Dr. Desmond Blackburn. Over 40 HBCA members and guests learned how the growth of the community effects the schools, potential solutions to overcrowding, enhancing student vocational options that could potentially fill the need for skilled craftsman here in our community.
